After taking her lunch at 12 noon, she decided to spend her whole afternoon to rest. She felt so tired because of the overtime she made at work these past few days. And this day is the day she could have her rest since it is the end of the second week of the month and deadlines were finished. Laine was handling inventory and sales in the mall she is working as an Auditor. She is also assigned to make a monthly report and sales report which will be submitted before the end of the second week of the month. And finally, end of the second week of the month and the only time for her to be a\ sleeping beauty.
At 4 pm on that same day, she was awakened by the noise outside her room. In her curiosity she got up and open the door. She saw a strange face talking to their boardinghouse caretaker. He is inquiring if there is still an available for a bed spacer. He is lucky to have the last vacant bed. Laine joined them and ask some personal details about the new boarder and she also introduced herself to him. He is smart, cheerful and fun to talk with. It was RG.
Laine was busy in her work again. She spent more of her time to work, and do overtime during night. The same with her lifestyle before, after overtime she go home and go to bed after dinner. On the next day morning, while she was on her locker fixing her things she was reminded by her keys on the top of her bed. She run back to her boarding house and got it. Before she enter her room she noticed a guy sitting in front of the male room, it was RG. She gaze at him and smile and then get her keys inside her room. While wearing her shoes, RG ask her the time and after giving the time she run again back to the office. That was the beginning of their friendship. When Laine go home at night RG was always in her way and ask her if they could take dinner outside together. Every after work the set was mutual and they became friends and then best friends.
After a month of being best friends, RG told Laine how he felt for her. But Laine was afraid that their friendship will gone, so she pretended that she doesn't feel the same. RG confronted her and he wanted Laine to be frank at him but all she said is that she wants to keep their friendship. RG explained to Laine that if they become a lover their friendship will remain only that he wanted a commitment from Laine because he is jealous when he saw that there are other guy flirting at her. Laine ask time to think about it, but deep inside she is very happy because God knows how she love RG too.

Wife in my Dreams
John is a scholar in the university where he studied. He took up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Because of his active participation in school organizations, he was included in the group of students supported by a priests. They have allowances and free boarding. John is tall, a little bit skinny and yet handsome. He used to stay in the library during his vacant time to scan his lesson of the next subject. While waiting for the bell, he usually talk to his classmates and if not, to new faces schoolmates. During weekdays, John and his friends agreed to focus their classes and that they spend their time together every Saturdays after their activity in the morning. He was sitting in a table where in most of the students are juniors. And he is the only senior sitting at that table in the moment. He smile at his seatmate and ask her name. It was Grace and she is busy reading a comics. Because of his amusement at her, John did not hear the bell ringing. Only to find out that, Grace is packing her things with the other and ready to attend their classes. After their meeting at the library the previous day, John still can't believe that he has a sleepless night thinking of Grace.
One month after her graduation Grace was accepted as an Auditor of the biggest mall in the city. She was very happy that at last she got a job but worried if she could do her duties well. She heard that most of the staff assigned from that department will resigned after 3 months of contract because aside from the pressure of the work, the manager is also very strict. Even though, she still accepted the offer. It was her third day in the work and most of her office mates are friendly that is why it is very easy for her to adjust and learn from her job. Grace knows from the start that they should do overtime of at least 3 times a week to cover-up their backlogs. After a 30 minutes break, she went back to the office together with her office mates for their overtime. While riding on the escalator, she saw a familiar face. He is tall, macho and handsome. She could feel her heart beating so fast. She was reminded by the man, 2 years ago in the library.His face, the amusement while looking at her.. Almost everybody knows him because of his being a consistent Dean's Lister. An intelligent and handsome John Dave Lluvido. But that skinny guy, now turned into a hunk. And she could not stopped herself to admire him more. Six months later, Grace is ready to exit from the organization. She finally decided to pursue her plan to apply for abroad. And all her requirements are complete and ready for submission to the agency. She didn't accept the 30 days extension because she want to spend time to her family before she leave.
He resigned as an Accounting Staff, and he was hired as an accountant in a micro-insurance institution. He missed her a lot. Now that she is working abroad his heart is very lonely. When he knows that Grace is working on that mall, he always look at her in the distance. He make it sure that she was inside her boardinghouse before he leave. And he couldn't do it now because they have miles in a distance. He had into a relationship with some other girls just to forget her but nobody could replace her into his heart. She really meant to him that is why he is so afraid to tell her about her feelings. Grace is very beautiful and belongs to a second level family. He knows that this is not the right time to express her how he feel for her. He has still nothing to prove to the family of Grace. He wanted to show them that she is deserving to have him.
John was busy in preparing a financial report when he received a notification from his Facebook. It was Grace commented on his post. His heart seems like jumping and very happy sending a reply.
John: How are you Grace?
Grace: I'm fine, how about you?
John: I'm fine but missing you...hehehehe (feeling regretted of what he said)
Grace: Oh really, why so?
John: I mean, the Philippines is missing you!
Grace: Ah I see. My contract is almost finish. After 2 or 3 months probably I will be in the Philippines again.
John: That's great...Then we'll see each other...Is it okey?
Grace: Yeah sure.
After 3 months of waiting, Grace told John that she is already in the Philippines. John grab the opportunity and invited Grace for a date. He courted her and showed her how he felt for her. Grace was very happy that the man in her dreams felt the same way she does. It is an answered prayer to John that the wife in his dream soon to be his wife in the real world.
One year long in a relationship they got married and now they have the fruit of their love. John couldn't still believe that he is now a father to a beautiful baby girl Gracelle, sleeping in his arms while waiting Grace preparing for her milk. And john promised himself that he would take care of the two blessings God has given to him.
